Our lease was up and went for a new Equinox. Bill Comer went out of his way to get me the car I wanted . The price was great and with the help of Larry we were able to leave with a great deal

Dealing with everyone is always pleasant. They explain and make it easy. They all care. However when the car was serviced, they explained that they check over all fluids. Later in that day my washer fluid low light came on. I purchased a bottle and filled it up. If they checked fluids it shouldn’t have needed entire bottle of fluid. Other then that the service was great

My salesman was excellent. Worked with me and my daughter to get the right car for her. My biggest problem was not finding out that I had a credit issue until I was there to pick up the car with my daughter. I had provided my ss# days before to only find out pick up day that I would have to put more money down instead of $2700 I lmow had to put down 4,700 because of the credit. I found that disappointing to be told that again while the salesman is going over the car with my daughter. What I should have done was walk away from the car deal. I was told by my sales man my two payments and mileage overage would be taken care of . Ironically the amount extra I had to put down adds up to two remaining payments the mileage over on car I was handing back first payment of new lease which had come up $15 from what was agreed upon. So was it my credit or was I eating the reaming payments and mileage over.

I always been a Chevy fan. Wife and I went shopping for a new car. Fortunately the salesman (Larry Topper) was standing by the door and asked us if we needed help. Larry showed us a few vehicles that I was interested in. Explained all features and made sure we understood the vehicle that we chose. Very professional and helpful as we made our choice. Lead us through the process of leasing the car. He took care of all the paperwork work to complete the sale and we left with our new car completely satisfied.

While the service may have been performed the bill didn’t take into account the coupon I brought in. I had a coupon that said $50 off if you spend $500 or more which I spent over $800. The woman said I couldn’t use it on the oil change because that was a coupon already. Fine take the $99.95 for the oil change out of the mix and I still paid over $700. To my surprise just reading over my full bill now they only took off $10. That is very deceptive and wrong. I have been a loyal customer but not sure with practices like this I will be coming back.

I worked with sales associate Tony Montana who I am very pleased with. Sales manager Wayne Stevens was involved also, and is a standup guy. They did what was needed, to not lose me as a customer. Very pleased !

Your team took very good care of us, especially Kitty. She was very helpful & attentive. The only problem we had was with who ever detailed the car. So called "detailing" was terrible. To me, all they did was wash it & not that well at that. Inside door jams were dirty & the windows were not cleaned well. That's are biggest complaint. Other than that, the service was great.

Attention to detail and helped ensure my service warranty was utilized for an expensive repair to the air conditioning system in my vehicle.

I dropped off my car on Tuesday night for an oil change appointment on Wednesday at 9 am. To my surprise, it wasn’t completed until 5 pm. It was the simplest job imaginable, so I was quite disappointed. Next time, I’ll stay in and wait for my car to be done. It was my only day off, and my afternoon plans were canceled because I had no car. I was especially disappointed because I had paid the full cost. I should have been respected and appreciated.

To be honest, I am likely to lease my next car from your dealership because of my experiences with your service department. Short wait time, Staff was very helpful!

Wasn’t sure what to do when getting service. I parked outside service entrance, and was heading inside to service desk when someone said I should just drive in. Which I did. Gave keys to mechanic and he told me to go in and check in at desk. Paperwork done, sat down in waiting area with coffee and mini bagel in hand. One hour later service was completed. Thank you service department.

A mechanical lift issue kept the vehicle for a couple days. I fully understand the lift issue was unforseen and the repair took longer then expected, therefore my vehicle did not get returned when hoped. The first day when told about the issue, i was told no loaner was available. No rental could be supplied either. The service would be $600+, and the reason for the vehicle not ready was the dealer equipment ptoblem - why was i left without a vehicle the first day?! The second day i showed up and required a loaner vehicle, and it was as if i was a problem, as if i knew it couldnt happen, so why was i there? And as far as i can tell, i was discounted $10 for my inconvieance. $10?! On a $600+ total charge? I have had 2 other service related issues in the past to where vehicle wasnt ready when promised (both times, vehicle was let all day for simple oil changes). I bought this vehicle from Smithtown, and from what i have heard and seen of other chevy dealerships, all the service is terrible. I guess the world has changed. I need a car, and you have them. I am at your mercy, and obviously there is little of it.

The service person made me an appointment for a first time oil change knowing my car had its engine light on, i needed to wait and he said no problem. When i got there i was told i had to leave it and i said my apoinmnet was for a wait, so now i had to make a second appoinmnet to drop off. It should have been made a drop off appoinmnet the first time so i did not have to come back a second time. Waste of everyone's time.

David is quite frankly the best salesperson I have ever worked with. He treated us like family. In fact this was second purchase from him. We came back because he was so great with us!

I went in to look at a Silversdo 2500 HD ZR2 that the dealership had in their inventory. The salesman, Larry, did a great job helping us to find it on the lot and through the entire process of purchasing it. The finance person was great too. She got my truck finance through GM and went over each of my options so I could understand where I stood and even helped me reduce the interest paid on the truck and paying it off early. The dealership has the best people taking care of their customers and did a bang io job as far as I am concerned.

Dillon was excellent!! We managed most of my purchase over the phone so things went well at the dealership on pickup. That said, the vehicle had a bad front right tire that wasn’t discovered until I drove off. Once again, Dillon scrambled on a Saturday night to get a more wheel out on and send me on my way. EVERYTHING other than that glitch was a fantastic experience.

As I told the Shop manager every time I take off my air caps off my rear tires so I know they get rotated when the oil change and it’s so cold tire rotation was done. I walked outside and the caps were still off my rear tires the mechanic said he did it The rotation then why were my rear tire still missing the caps? They would never put to the front of the truck, I try not to make a big deal out of it that morning, but the mechanic kept telling me I’m going to look like a fool on the video showing that he did it so why were my cap still missing off my rear tires and rear tires, never went to the front of the truck so I said get me the video they weren’t sure if they had it then I get a phone call on my way home saying they had the video I said send it to me Katie never sent it to me so I know he never did it. I was not trying to make a big deal out of it if he didn’t do it fine not a big deal. It’s all he had to say oh I forgot but he didn’t.

The one and only free service was accomplished in a timely fashion, the reason for the excellent review. However, there were oil spots in my driveway after I got home, possibly from oil sitting in the skid plate from the filter change. Dishwasher detergent cleaned them up so no problem. My only other issue was the way the American Flag was treated. I mentioned to the service rep who closed me out that I spent 34 years in the US Army and that it saddened me to see the flag rolled up into a ball and stuck in the rafters of the service bay.

Service Advisor was informative and worked with my wife to ensure we got a great value on our service.

This was not an appointment I scheduled for something I needed. I was contacted by Jason in Smithtown Chevy's service department, advising it was imperative I bring my vehicle back in so photos could be taken of it. I had previously had a service appointment where my steering wheel was replaced due to a faulty heated steering wheel issue on 9/26/25. My vehicle was kept overnight waiting on a part and I picked it up on 9/27/25 with the repair completed. Jason contacted me on 10/9/25 leaving me a an urgent voice message. I returned Jason's call within 1-2 hours, Jason stated in order for them to get reimbursement through the warranty for work done on 9/27/25, they needed to take photos as there was an issue with the photos they originally took. I advised Jason I was busy working all day today but could bring it in tomorrow 10/10/25, sometime late morning. I obliged brought the vehicle in the next day on 10/10/25 for Jason to take these additional photos. But by 10:45am on 10/10/25 Jason left me another voicemail asking if I was still bringing the vehicle today. Again, I called back almost immediately stating I am on my way and will be there in about 30 minutes. I never once complained during the whole process and was pleasant through all phone and the in-person transaction but it was an inconvenience for me. I work full-time as a registered nurse and presently in school which requires me to complete numerous clinical hours on top of my full-time work hours. Therefore, I have very limited free time. I also do not live close to the dealership. At the end of the transaction, I politely asked if I could possibly be given a complimentary oil change next time around, to which Jason giggled and replied "uh,, I'll have to see about that.". I took my keys and left at that point. As I drove home, I felt very disappointed with this interaction and with your establishment. Just because I wasn't a "squeaky wheel" and did the polite thing and courteously and promptly returned your multiple phone calls and brought the vehicle in, I get nothing in return for my flexibility and understanding? I could have dodged Jason/the service department's phone calls for a long time, causing your establishment many headaches. Which would have resulted in issues with your establishment getting reimbursement for work done. It appeared to be highly important these photos were taken again by the multiple calls I received in a short amount of time. It was not my fault the original vehicle photos taken on the original repair date of 9/27/25, were either not done or not properly uploaded or lost. I could have also demanded a free oil change over the phone before agreeing to bring the vehicle back, but I did not do that. I figured Jason/Chevy would "do the right thing" since I "did the right thing" and obliged Jason so easily without giving him a hard time at all, but sadly Chevy/Jason wanted me to afford them some grace in this situation and unfortunately my good behavior was not rewarded when I politely asked for my next oil change to be complimentary. I felt this request was not outlandish and completely within the realm of a reasonable request. It's unfortunate that our society only jumps to rewards the complainers and the loudmouths of society who act badly. Unfortunately, this whole exchange has left a bad taste in my mouth for Smithtown Chevy. This was my very first service appointment with this dealership, and it may be my last one now.

I was happy with the service however I am having an issue with the front brake monitor sensor which the dealer said is not under warrantee. the brake pad wear is good, but the sensor is reading needs service. I don't understand how that is not covered.

It’s by far the worst experience in my life. Your service team and service management are terrible dishonest and disrespectful. I drove the truck in and took it towed out after paying $453 Plus tax for diagnostic. And paid over 800 for tow and they gave me a break l. I’ll post this on google, yelp and contact BBB. I was told over the phone it’s $229 for diagnostic service. Then I got a call back from the service person Justin that’s he need to dig in deeper and if he has my permission to open the car. I replied yeah I bought the car in for diagnostic so yeah sure. When I got a call back from him again next day he said it’s the cam shaft and it’ll coast me over $11.000 to fix I said I’ll come in next day I have to think about this it’s a huge expense and I’m not prepared for that. He replied you Already over 4 hours in diagnostic you’re around $650 in just diagnostic ONLY I replied what. I was told the diagnostic $229 as per Mary over the phone told me. He said I called you to get a permission from you. I replied yes you called me for permission to open the car that’s all. He said what do you think it’s free I said no I thought that’s included in the price I was giving. He said no that’s per hour. And you never ever discussed any price over the price I was giving I was giving only $229 plus tax for diagnostic. He replied loud and nasty tone I’ll put your car on a lean then hang up the phone. Next day I went to the shop talked to the manager her name was Fran. She talked to me like she was doing me a favor and I have to go I have a doctors appointment at 11AM anyway at the end I paid what I mentioned before and coast me $800 after I had it dropped off driving I took the engine in pieces in my trunk. Thanks for Nothing Smithtown Chevrolet. I’ll tell everyone that I know never to get service ever there.

My car is less then a year old and the check engine light keeps coming on and all they can tell me is they are working on a fix for it and to just bring it in when the light comes on so they have a record and can clear the light. It’s disrupting my life

I wanted to extend my thanks yet again to both my Service Adviser – Kathy Altamura and the ever talented Technician/Mechanic Dave Robinson for their great help with what turned out to be the BCM (Body Control Module) issue on my Camaro SS. I am so glad Kathy- (you were missed!!) is back and looking well! This time Dave drilled down on the cause of the intermittent outage of both power windows and the radio. Dave is always determined to find the root cause of any car problem which is a major reason he is a so good at his work. Dave was just as diligent recently with my convertible, both with the needed changing of the serpentine and A/C belts. He also spotted and showed me two incipient minor leaks in the A/C which did not need to be addresses at this time; A/C was recharged. Dave always clarifies what any issue involves with a view to avoiding unnecessary expenses. He has taken great care of both my cars for years for which I am grateful. I had to find this discontinued BCM, cleared of any prior VIN on the internet. I did and with Kathy’s support, she made sure the part was correct and clean and she had it shipped to Chevy Smithtown. Dave will install soon. Much appreciated team!

My sales rep,Kitty, was wonderful and she helped me quickly with exactly what I needed. Now, the one thing I would say is the wait for a finance manager was not feasible. I had to wait an unbelievable amount of time and had a family event that I was late for. The finance manager himself was helpful and speedy, knowing I had to get somewhere. But to be at a dealership for 4 hours is unreasonable and shouldn't be the case. Please improve

It was great. I wanted a truck that was not available anywhere in the trip-state area according to all the other dealers I visited. Your salesman, Joe Gutttilla, found one somewhere. He was in constant communication with me during the whole process. Would highly recommend him going forward.

Not really the dealerships fault… I will never get another Chevy and will advise everyone I know to stay away… bought a brand new traverse in April. The car has needed repairs 4 times already!!!! They sold me a lemon and won’t do anything about it. It’s made like it’s not a big deal. I’ve wasted countless hours in traffic going to and from to retrieve my car. Each time I get a loaner it’s inferior, not the size car I need for my family! My brand new car had to have a new ecm new fans new harness and they found a corded part on the third time the car was brought in for the same issue I feel like that should’ve been checked throughly maybe the first time the car was brought in. I had a Honda for 10 years other than general maintenance the car never was at a mechanic check engine light never went on I didn’t even have the traverse a week the first time.. DO BETTER GM!!!

Mary in Service was great. She called me as soon as the part she ordered was delivered and squeezed me in between appointments to get the part installed. As soon as that was done, she called me to pick up my 2025 Trax. She was courteous and kept her word.

Everything from setting up the appointment to giving me updates on the status of our truck was nothing short of exceptional. Kathy was our service advisor and she was so empathetic, knowledgeable and very sweet. The whole staff was very sweet and kind. Recommend this service department 100%

Finance lady was great. Everything moved along and honest and they had to prep the car they told us we can go home have some lunch come back, which was great so we didn’t feel like it held our whole day up and our salesperson.
